Spen-Tech has an opening for an Industrial Automation Machine Electrician. Responsibilities include integration, wiring and testing of individual projects to produce high quality customer solutions.

Job Duties include,

• Assembly and installation of control panels

• Keeping updated on the field’s concepts, practices and procedures

• Electrical assembly and wiring of industrial automation machinery

• Test & debug of wiring circuits on workshop floor

• Checking quality of supplier’s work/components

• Working closely with Electrical Leader and other skilled trades team

• Adhering to specifications from Controls Engineering Department

• Ensuring safe work practices are always being utilized and considered with the workshop

• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications

 

Requirements:

• 5 years Electrical assembly and wiring experience in automation or similar industry

• Must have basic computer skills

• Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics/diagrams

• Troubleshoot and solve issues

• Supply adequate tools required to perform job task

 

Education & Personality Requirements:

• Vocational School preferred

• Senior High School diploma or higher

• Self-starter & structured

• Good working relationship and effective communication skills with vendors, team members, suppliers and project teams

• Customer oriented attitude

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Strong ability for problem solving

• Can work under pressure & challenging time plans
