JOB DESCRIPTION

The Industrial Machine Final Integration Supervisor's main objective is to ensure high-quality standards
as the company and its suppliers are producing products.

Responsibilities: but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for ALL manufacturing efforts between all 4 walls of the entire Manufacturing
    Floor.

  • The Electrical Supervisor and all skilled trades employees and contractors report to the
    Final Integration Supervisor.

  • Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning,
    monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and initiating, coordinating,
    and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, recommending disciplinary actions of
    employees to senior management for approval.

  • Completes production plan by proactively reviewing current and upcoming workload,
    scheduling and assigning personnel as often as required; accomplishing work results;
    establishing priorities; monitoring progress; meeting schedules; resolving problems;
    reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing
    personal growth opportunities.

  • Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables;
    observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying
    methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems;
    facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering
    a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment, and
    techniques.

  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing
    production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to
    requests.

  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the
    use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with
    established policies and procedures.

  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, and identifying solutions;
    Recommending action to Management.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.

  • •Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • The following requirements are essential for this position:

  • Must be fluent in mechanical systems for industrial machines

  • Must be fluent in reading, understanding, and interpreting mechanical drawings

  • Competent in Unigraphics and AutoCAD files in regards to viewing, printing, redlining etc.

  • Ability to check mechanical designs for errors or inconsistencies

  • Ability to formulate testing procedures for quality checking

  • Ability to suggest ways and means to resolve quality issues

  • Ability to collect data and write technical reports

  • Ability to ensure that company standards and methods are being used.

  • Must have exceptional decision-making skills in the right time and in the right situation

  • Willing and able to work well in a team-oriented environment

  • Must have good time management skills and be able to meet deadlines

  • Experience in understanding and following customer specifications

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Willingness to work as required to meet deadlines

  • Address all issues. Develop strategies to avoid the recurrence of these.

  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.

  • Assist in equipment concepts.

  • Monitor and act to ensure on-time deliveries of manufacturing phases.

  • Managing a team of controls and mechanical engineers, designers, and drafters.

  • Work in a manufacturing environment for highly customized and engineered equipment.

  • Multitask and manage large workloads and business demands.

  • Embrace a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

  • Have a strong work ethic to do what it takes to get the job done.

  • Will work overtime and weekends as necessary.

  • Travel as required to meet sales and project goals.

  • Manage manufacturing labor financials

  • Communicate potential change order from the customer's verbal request

Education & Personality Requirements:

  • Overall Experience — a minimum of ten years’ experience related to Industrial Machine
    Design or Assembly

  • Job Training — employees in this position usually require training involving on-the-job training
    experience, informal training with experienced workers, and formal training with qualified
    experts.

  • Education — A minimum of ten years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of
    education and experience.

Education & Personality Requirements:

Travel may be required for visiting customer sites, external suppliers etc. Possession of a
valid U.S. passport may be required. The length of stay will vary depending complexity of
the quality issue, but a total of 10% is possible.
